Get on the Route Before the First Storm

Our routes are set before the season starts. Sign up before November 15 and your driveway is on the route from the first snowfall, at a monthly price that holds for the whole winter. Wait until it's already snowing and you're shoveling while you make phone calls.

What's Included in Every Residential Plan

Driveway

Cleared from the street to the garage, so you can get in and out whatever the morning looks like.

Front Walk

The walk from the driveway to your door, cleared so family, guests and deliveries aren't wading through snow.

Public Sidewalk

The sidewalk along your property, the stretch the city expects you to keep clear. It's part of the plan, not an add-on.

Every 1.5″ Snowfall

Once 1.5 inches has fallen, your property is serviced automatically. You never have to call to get on the list.

Good to know

Ice melt isn't part of residential plans. Snow is piled on your property in sensible spots, and if there's an area you want kept clear, like a garden bed or the side of the garage, tell us before the season starts. Hauling snow off the property isn't included.

One Monthly Price, All Winter

Residential plans start at $155 a month for the November 15 to April 15 season. It's a fixed monthly price, so you're not billed by the visit and a snowy January doesn't turn into a surprise invoice.

Plans from$155/mo

What sets your monthly price

  • Driveway length and width
  • Length of the front walk and public sidewalk
  • Corner lots, which have more sidewalk to clear
  • Slope and access to the property

Sioux Falls Gives You 48 Hours to Clear the Sidewalk

Under city ordinance, Sioux Falls property owners have 48 hours after snow stops falling to clear their sidewalks. Miss it and citations start at $100, and the city can send its own contractor and bill the property for the work.

Every residential plan includes the public sidewalk along your property, so it's handled with the driveway rather than left for you. Harrisburg, Tea and Brandon set their own rules, and the same coverage applies there.

What Happens When It Snows

Once 1.5 inches has fallen, your property is on the route for that storm. Depending on how hard it's coming down, we may clear during the snowfall or right after it ends, and in long storms we may come back for another pass.

We use whatever fits the property: trucks with plows, skid steers, snowblowers and shovels. We don't promise a specific time, because storm timing and route order decide that and we'd rather be straight with you up front. What we do promise is that you never have to call to get on the list.
